Privacypolicy

IH Studios respects your privacy and handles personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This policy explains what we collect on this site, why, and what you can do about it.

1. What we collect

  • What you send us. When you use an enquiry form we receive the details you type: your name, email address and message, and, if you choose to give them, your store URL, the kind of project, a budget range and a timeframe.
  • Technical information. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, time of request) to keep the site running and secure. We don't run analytics or advertising trackers on this site.

2. Why we collect it

To reply to your enquiry, to scope and quote a project, to keep a record of our correspondence, and to keep the site secure. We don't use your details for marketing unless you have asked us to, and we don't sell or rent them to anyone.

3. Where it goes

Form submissions are delivered to our email inbox through our hosting provider's form service, and stored there and in our email account. Those providers may store data on servers outside Australia (for example, in the United States). We only use providers that commit to protecting the data they process for us.

4. How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to respond to you and, if you become a client, for the life of the project and the records we're required to keep afterwards. You can ask us to delete an enquiry at any time.

5. Your choices and rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing isabella@ihstudios.com.au. We'll respond within a reasonable time. If you're not happy with how we handle a request, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

7. Changes

If we change how we handle personal information we'll update this page and the date at the top.
